Special Features

Male-female adapters

To provide adaption where the size of the pressure tap is different from the size of the pressure gauge thread.

Female-Female adapters
To provide connection of two male threads of same or different size.



Male-male adapters
To provide connection of two female threads of same or different size.



Self-sealing nipples (SS)
To adapt a smaller size pressure gauge thread to a larger size pressure tap. No sealing ring between pressure gauge and nipple is required. When fitted by WIKA, the nipple is additionally secured by a thread locking compound.



LH-RH unions per DIN 16 283.
The union features a left-hand thread at one end and a right-hand thread at the other end. This feature is intended to provide positive sealing while the pressure gauge may be orientated into any direction. The principle does not allow tapered threads such as NPT



Union nuts with nipple per DIN 16 284.

Compression fittings with ferrule (flareless tube connector)
These are intended to connect a pressure gauge to thin-walled high pressure tubing of copper, steel or stainless steel.



Flanges with lens-type sealing ring
This is a DIN-standard high pressure connector using a lens-type metal-to-metal sealing ring suitable up to 4000 bar. The pressure gauge requires a secially shaped shank of G ¾.



Weld-on adapters With male thread, left-hand thread for the use with LH/RH union and with right-hand thread (per EN 837-1) for direct pressure port entry.
